Hi, I’m Lauren, creator of TinyTauk. I have been operating my business here in beautiful Montauk for the past 5 years and it’s very possible that I have already taken care of your children! If not, let me tell you a little bit about myself…
I have over 27 years of experience as a caregiver to prominent families in New York – some include the owner & developer of Ubisoft, a former South African supermodel, an artistic reality TV star, a Manhattan socialite, and a cast member of the TV show Blue Bloods to name (and not name) a few.
After receiving training as a postpartum doula and choosing a more relaxed way of life, I moved to Montauk full-time in 2018. Here, I focus on TinyTauk and my passions such as yoga, painting & illustration, and long walks by the water with my small dog, The Great Gatsby.
I am certified by the Red Cross in infant/child CPR and Anaphylaxis Injector protocols – I hold extensive experience in newborn specialist care, Montessori curriculums and have worked side by side with children’s special needs therapists in our playroom.
TinyTauk has been my labor of love since 2019, bringing you convenient evening babysitting on site at our local hotels or in your summer home. In 2021, we expanded our business to include a physical playroom for Drop-&-Drinks, movie nights, creative classes, children’s yoga and summer enrichment sessions for young children.

Lauren holds 25 years as a caregiver, is infant CPR certified, Anaphylaxis Injector certified by the Red Cross; Experienced in newborn care & children with special needs, postpartum doula trained and Montessori educated.
Caroline is a the organic chef vegan dreams are made of, a mother to be and a heavily certified yoga teacher of 9 years. he childcare experience spans a decade and her positive energy never stops!
Nena has over 15 years experience in childcare. She is a Gold Medal marathon runner & is recently married to her childhood sweetheart. They reside in Montauk full time. Nena is infant CPR certified by the Red Cross as well.
Lina has 11 years of experience in childcare, including raising her own siblings and cousins. In her spare time, she studies esthetics and loves chasing sunsets.
Andrea works daily at TinyTauk Play Club and helps with some evenings for us too. She boasts 10 years experience in childcare and has studied child development at University. She has backpacked the world and is passionate about photography and the arts. She Infant CPR certified and works with special needs children as well.
Erin is from Georgia and spends her summers in Montauk. She works at TinyTauk Play Club during the day as an assistant. She also works at the Early Childhood Education Center back home. She is certified in CPR and is also a lifeguard.
Monday through Friday mornings
9am-11am
$85 per session
($100 per session add a sibling)
Age Range: 3.5+ (Fully Potty Trained Please!)
Our Mindful Morning sessions will start with open play, then gently progress into a 15min kids yoga class. Having worked up appetite from our mindful asanas, we will break for a small snack (provided or packed). Miss Melody will lead a music class a few times a week followed by a craft or game of their choice (canvas painting, clay molding, jewelry making, shell art, puzzles, STEM games, reading..) Our attendants are local artists as well as seasoned caregivers!
Wednesday through Sunday
3:30pm-7:30pm
Price: $42/hr. (Max drop off time is 2 hours)
Drop the kids off and go hit Gosman's, Topside or the Inlet Cafe! The children will be close, safe and cared for while you're just steps away..
*Children must be fully potty trained and capable of communicating all needs to attendants. Ages 3.5+
Select Fridays over summer, to be announced
Please note, multiple weekend evenings or re-occourring sitters are a challenge to accommodate and not likely bookable.
DAY SITTERS ARE NOT AVAILABLE.
During peak season we encourage you to book well in advance of your planned visit.
WE ENCOUNTER A VERY HIGH VOLUME OF CLIENTELE DURING SUMMER - WE WILL RESPOND AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE.
